Riverina Wildlife Health

About the Riverina Wildlife Health Project

The Riverina Wildlife Health Project has characterised the sociological dimensions of community participation in wildlife health and now provides this purpose built platform that serves two broad purposes:

  1.  Acts as a portal for any member of the public to report a wildlife disease incident (and relevant data), and for that reporter to then receive tailored advice on what to do in response to the incident;
  2.  Is a community space for activity and knowledge sharing relating to wildlife health.

Our project is a pilot, based in the Riverina region of NSW, which is of interest as a model for a State, multi-State or National community participatory system.
